Anton haunts on radio and in NSD.
On Tuesday 22 July the first episode of Antons radio series; Tornionlaaksossa kummitelle (Haunted Tornedalen) was broadcast on P4. The series is produced by Arktisk Cirkus and the sounddesign is made by Martin Eriksson from Bortbyting. Anton and Tornialaaksossa... also made an appearance in NSD.

Lukas' dad is done
After nine years and countless of late nights work, Lukas' Dad is not a Rabbit is finally done. A trailer will be available soon and you will be able to view the film this fall on SVT and on Finnish YLE.

Test screening of Lukas'
Bortbyting, Vattenfall Inlandskraft AB, Norrskenet and J & B reklambyrå invites you to a testscreening of Lukas' Dad is not a Rabbit at the 27th of June, 3pm at Folkets Hus, Nåjdens sal. It's free, but in return we ask you to fill out a form, wich also lets you participate in a raffle for some flashy Lukas-mechandice. Tickets are available at the ticketbooth 30 minutes before the show.

If you are a reader of NSD you might have noticed that it was a little bit heavier today. In the centre of the paper they stuck the insert paper Norrbottens affärer, and on it's cover was a small picture of Lukas making a sandwich. It's almost time again, for the filmevent of the year, Arctic Light Film Festival. Bortbyting will participate by presenting The Red Shoe, The Blue Shoe and Kaisa & Harax at the Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi, February 15th. Arctic Light Film Festival starts the 11th, and be shure not to miss Kiki's Deliveryservice on the big screen.

North American shoe premiere



On the 13th of June, The Red Shoe, was for the first time screened for an unsuspecting american audience. The first screening was sparsely visited, but the second one at the 15th gathered a bigger crowd. Best question from the audience: "Is it supposed to be funny?"

Bortbyting in Piteå
At the 1st of June, during PEFF (Piteå Student Film Festival), Magnus held a seminar about animation. The few people that showed up got to see some Bortbyting/Arktisk Cirkus-films, but Magnus also revealed some well kept secrets about who the characters in our films are modeled after.
